Low Pressure Sodium lighting produces a highly concentrated amber sodium spectrum centered around approximately 589 nm, making SOX lamps particularly suited to street and roadway lighting, dark-sky applications, astronomy and observatory environments, industrial and infrastructure lighting, scientific applications, photography, darkrooms, and specialty low-glare lighting.
